Salvation:
Salvation is being saved from the righteous judgment of God, who will condemn sinners to eternal damnation.

For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Romans 8:24-25
Paul balances the salvation we have now through faith, using the language of faith, which is hope, with the salvation we will obtain in reality when He returns to gather His people at the resurrection and rapture.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for.
