Let everyone know what you voted for in the poll, and give your reason for why you voted that way.

It is an error in logic of the orthodox kind to attempt to divide Gods Image, Word and/or Spirit or His human nature from His Divine Nature.

There are what are called 'simultaneous' truths throughout the text, and not just in this particular subject matter. On the surface and without understanding simultaneous truths' the text to the unlearned can seem to be in opposition when in fact it isn't whatsoever.

God the Father could have been BOTH seen and UNseen. So your poll is, well, shortsighted.

No offense. But I see it frequently done by people who hold other forms of faulty Trinity understandings and seek to promote same at the other end of the hook. Not saying you are doing that either, but....it's possible.

I didn't vote.

I'll play. I voted that he saw the Father.

Why? Because the context is speaking of the Father, sitting on the throne. The Lamb that was slain was right there in the "midst" of the throne. We do know that Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father.

I don't believe this idea that God is pure and incorporeal spirit. The Father sits, has hands, speaks, etc...Yes, God is Spirit. He is also Love. He is also Truth. He also has a face, head, hands, feet, etc.
