If it is any comfort to you I too get discouraged at times, so at least you know you are not alone. But when we think about it, we never have been left alone. Our Comforter and our Redeemer are always with us...always by our side.

John 16: 33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Sometimes that seems easier said than done (being of 'good cheer') but if we can wrap our minds around His love for us and His sacrifice for us we truly can know that no matter what He will never leave us or forsake us. I pray for comfort and peace for you today brother. God Bless.

Every Christian is discouraged from time to time, and our Lord Jesus Christ understands best how you feel, because He was in all points (including discouargement) tested as we are, yet without sin. Your Savior is able to put courage back into you also, the pslams are like healing balms for our weary souls... go to those words of men like yourself who struggled as you do.

King David wrote; oh soul, why are you discouraged within me? Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him. (my condensed version)

I pray our Father in heaven will give you hope and encourage your heart as you turn toward Him and His word. May He strengthen you in the inner man, to know His constant care for you, and to know His powerful love most of all! :heart

The Lord is very present in times of trouble dear brother, draw even nearer to Him now. bonnie
