Anyone here ever been to Disneyland in California? What was your favorite ride?

I went to disney world in florida but the rids were mostly 4 little kids so not as fun as I hoped

I've been to DisneyWorld. Favorite ride for me and middle daughter, Space Mountain! Pirates of the Caribbean was really cute, Lexy like the dog, she was afraid of the pirates. My oldest, the romantic, she liked Small World. Dave couldn't go :sad he had exams.

Been there, done that, and other than the pleasure of the company we had there was little really good to be said for long lines, high food prices, and wading through the heat and crowds. Tickets I believe were $12 each and for that you could wander about observing screwball fairy tale characters. You might say that hardly cost anything: it was a bit ago, it wasn't worth that, and I can't recommend it. Hey, I just won the world title of anything and they ask what I'm going to do now, I can guarantee you it won't be wasting my time in another tourist trap. :)

We always went when the kids had spring vacation.Oregon and California did not have spring vacation with us.We took the kids out of school of a couple of days so we had very small waiting lines.I liked the Pirates of the Caribbean, the haunted house. My daughter and my husband liked It's a Small World :lol

I used to live a few minutes drive away from there and went all the time. It was a favorite fun activity to take my youth groups too when I was a youth pastor down there too. At that time it was G-rated (pre Miley Cyrus :biggrin2), gangster free, and safe for Christian kids. My favorite parts were the roller coasters. The wilder and wetter the better! But I don't know if I would enjoy it anymore. Haven't been there in many years since moving to Washington, but a friend who works there (prior youth group member who used to go with us all the time) tells me it's not the same. Very crowded now with out of town tourists and very long lines for anything that's good. Very expensive too. Just the parking fee is higher than the total cost of an entire visit used to be! She said it seems Disney's new philosophy is to make as much money as possible off of tourists who have spent so much money and time to get there that they are now trapped and will pay almost anything just so they don't feel like they wasted their vacation. It's no longer about providing a fun place for people, just about making as much money as possible. Poor Walt must be turning over in his grave. But then, that's just her opinion. I used to have a lot of fun there!

Oh I used to love Splash Mountain. Then there was Space Mountain too... (I think that's what it was called) I could ride those all day, and sometimes did! And the Matterhorn! What a classic roller coaster.

I think space mountain is the one that is a roller coaster but is dark inside. My son and his dad went on that one. There is no way I would.I think it would make me sick.
My youngest daughters first trip to Disneyland is when she was 5.She hated it.She was afraid of everything. Then here dad took her when she was 11 and she loved it.

Honestly I would have much more fun hiking or playing dodgeball than disney world. I am extremely addicted to dodgeball I play for avout three hours without rest a bit back and when it was time to go I almost threw a fit. Im not even that good my hand s are to small so throwing is difficult but dodgeball is my game

It that where someone tries to hit you with the ball?I hate that game.We used to play it in gym when I was a kid.I once got hit in the face.So I then did not like any games where people were throwing balls at me.And that included prison ball.

I liked dodge ball. I had to hold the ball with my hand cupped and rest the ball on my wrist, sidewise launch. I also liked handball, then I took up racket ball, it's awesome.

I was pretty good in soft ball and soccer when we played in school and I really liked volleyball.I really liked tether ball too.I was pretty good even though I was a shorty.I could beat some guys.

Disneyworld, interesting history of that place and the cia doing what they did.

I have never been to Disneyworld.
I live about two hours from it. I have been there twice in my life. its been told to me that they paint that whole thing daily, and pressure wash all buildings. if any plant or tree dies they replace it that day.
