I've played role-playing games, but not D&D or anything like it's ilk. Games played on computer I've done along with forum-based RPG games, where the character controls nations or characters. All fun in their own way.
In one forum RPG I successfully formed an evil axis which nuked the major powers in the world and went on a world-domination rampage. I won that one with my Evil Axis allies by quite some distance. :
I played D&D twice. Both times it seemed we'd hardly been playing any time, but 5 to 6 hours had passed. It's a veryconsuming activity, in more ways than one. There are plenty of news reports to back up the details in that particular tract. I don't find it amusing at all. D&D is dangerous.

No. It isn't. If you think this, why not say it in the thread about D&D located in the games forum? I can and have run just about any argument that D&D is Satanistic into the ground. This is quite simple to do, because it isn't.

Everybody has played role-play games. Even "cowboys and Indians" is a role-playing game. Or Cops and robbers, or War, or mummies and daddies, Doctors and Nurses!
