Does anyone here have the perfect pushup?

Well, as far as I know, the perfect push up things work the best when you can already do perfect push ups, and need to further your strength. If you can't already to push ups with ease, I can't see much reason to use it. I may be wrong :confused

My athletic therapist says they're great for variation as well as being easier on the wrists (instead of having them at 90 degrees supporting much of your body weight).

My personal opinion is that a push up is essentially a push up. I don't see any major advantage of having your wrists turning while doing it except for variation which will recruit other muscle fibres. Besides, if you want to go easier on your wrists, you can either form a fist and do it on your knuckles, which is hard and somewhat painful, or buy a set of larger hexagon dumbbells (20+ lbs), which you can then use for other exercises.

Having said all that, I'm going to get a pair of those perfect push up toys, some time soon I hope. You can get them fairly cheap if you shop around and I think they would be worth it.
