On the earth's surface, up is the direction away from the terran centroid. Mass curves both space and time, with gravitons as the quantum vector mediators. That is, time moves slower on the earth's surface than it does in outer space, and objects move toward the centroid along curved space.

An observer distant from a planet would be in flat space, and thus no direction would be up.

Outer space is FASCINATING!
I love Nebulas, the planets in our system, and its unfathomable how many stars there are.
Sometimes I look at the sky at night I just feel awe, and dizzy!
God... must be.. magnificent --- look at what He's made!! It's nuts!

Life is buzzy. Can be overwhelming at times when you get to deep trying to analise it.

I like how Polaris stays in one place, the stars around it move in a circle around Polaris, and stars further from Polaris rise in the east and set in the west like the sun does.

When you can see how insanely massive the universe is and then think of the size of a single human who thinks they are so great and powerful, it really is something to laugh at. And behind it all is God. Who is greator than God. He makes man look like a speak of dust. Not even a speak of dust compaired to the universe, not even the earth makes a speak of dust, and here is mankind challenging his ways and creation thinking we know it all. Lol. Who is bigger than God?

In addition, there are spiritual heavens that we can't even begin to understand.
