Dungeon Siege

Has anyone here played DS? I have a 9 minute video of a guided tour of Dungeon Siege II and it looks amazing. I have only played the demo of DS and it seems decent. I kind of like rpgs and this seems to be one of the better ones.

I played DS (not part 2). It was fun. But after I did the 2 full blown missions I got tired of it. Multiplayer mode didn't add too much to it.

On the good side, it was fun while I did the first two missions. It is nice and simple advancement. I also liked it gave a comphrensive score on the power of the items.

Apparently they have made some pretty big changes over the first one. And the graphics, wow. The official site has the 9 minute demo download (just watching someone play while another person talks, but pretty interesting). DSII is slated for release during the "holidays," whatever that means (Christmas?).

But, alas, my RAM is too small and even the DS demo started to get choppy. Upgrades, upgrades, upgrades.

Well, I have upgraded both RAM and video card, so I am ready to play DSII when it comes out.

Welcome to the forums Doppleganger! :D

I've never played multiplayer DS before but I do have the LOA expansion. I've played the DS2 demo which was much better in many respects especially the control over character development. I just don't have the time to get too into multiplayer gaming anymore (I used to do Q3 and UT2004).

My computer is still too far behind, being 3 1/2 years old and all.
