Each of you can continue to help us in the following ways:
Send information to Roger Bullard (rwbullard@fastmail.us) who will take your updates and put them together so that we can compile them.
Send the prayer focus to others who you know will intercede, and encourage them to sign up for themselves.
Give us grace if we make a mistake and pray for us as we seek to see changes in these nations.
Pray for us to "connect" with many other intercessors so that our intercession will expand.
Finally, thank you for sending information regarding the prayer issues your nation faces that affect religious freedom, mission opportunities and social issues that would affect the Body of Christ.
***************************************************
Pray for the missionaries this Christmas Season. Governmental restrictions and regulations tend to be on the increase in most nations making their work much more difficult. Those from North America find the dollar continually dropping and the Euro climbing, causing their living costs and the cost of ministry to increase. Pray that God would supply all their needs.
Albania: Please pray
· That Christ would bring healing both physically and spiritually to the people of Albania. May His Word spread freely among them and the national churches grow
· For Christmas outreaches into the Albanian Community that Jesus would be known as a personal savior to many this Christmas.
· For a united Christian Prayer Meeting to be held 13 January in Tirana. This is an opportunity for the Church to come on its knees and ask God to pour out His goodness and mercy over us, as we begin the New Year with His plans in our hearts and minds.
· For a large YWAM DTS Team from England (Dec - March) working among the Roma and Gypsy communities in Elbasan, central Albania. For effective communication of the gospel and for many to be saved. That God would rise up Christian leaders in this community.
· For Holy Spirit to fan sparks of revival fire that in the early 90’s began in the countryside of the most atheistic nation on earth. We are hearing that several leaders of this have moved to Tirana and larger cities. Some village and town churches struggle now and need workers to return and help them.
· For Albanian evangelical fellowships and alliances needing support and encouragement to increase their outreach there and turn this situation around.
· For work of the Holy Spirit in the youth and young adults in the countryside and cities to hunger for the Lord, and discover His love and purpose for them and how important they are to Him, and the plans and purposes He has for them.
· For a foundation established by a ministry according to the laws of Albania. The laws have changed and the founders now have to redo paperwork. Time and funds (i.e. attorney fees) are of essence and they need help.
· For protection of Christian ministries from a tightening of the laws and increasing bureaucracy for them to acquire licensing. Ask God to direct their work, grant wisdom and for favor with those they must deal with in government.
· For a ministry that “just finished a marriage seminar and a seminar on reaching Muslims with the gospelâ€Â. Please pray that those who attended the seminar will be changed and will become more effective for God.
Bosnia-Herzegovina: Please pray
· For better government following the recent elections, and wisdom for the foreign politicians and diplomats who have influence on the course of events in this country.
· For the economy of Bosnia. As a consequence of the poverty, people have been driven from their homes with bitterness and alcoholism that hardens hearts.
· For EHC director Radovan and his team of pioneer missionaries as they minister in areas that are difficult to evangelize. Also, pray for more than 260,000 homes that EHC has already evangelized.
· For the towns of Grude and Vishegrad that they would be able to recover from the war that devastated this nation. Pray for EHC’s pioneer missionaries who are taking the gospel of peace and reconciliation to this nation.
Bulgaria: Please pray
· The Harvest in Bulgaria – for Breakthrough Ministry’s vision for at least 1 million to be born-again and Spirit-filled Christians by 2010. Pray for many church-planting movements to take root, expand and 5-fold ministers to rise-up to equip the saints.
· This month for the cities of Bourgas and Yambol that the church in this region be strengthened by the Spirit, seeing that the harvest there is ripe. Ask for the laborers.
· For Chief intercessors and senior pastors from the region and across Bulgaria gathering 16 December, near Bourgas to make apostolic and prophetic declarations, pray for the region to wage war and make a wake up call for the churches to rise up for the harvest.
· For reformation in the judicial system; the level of corruption remains very high. Pray against the spirit of bondage and the Lord or righteousness to be glorified in Bulgaria.
· Thanking God for answering prayers by His people. We can see a significant success these days. But we haven’t seen any sentences against real cases for corruption yet.
· For the Parliament. There are many laws to be reformed or written, i.e. - law to control lobbyism. There is a battle and delay over accepting the law for opening the ex-communist secret service files, which is viewed as a step towards real democracy.
· For all hidden things to be revealed in the light of the Spirit of truth. Please pray for the democracy in Bulgaria to stay strong and the free rights of people to express their beliefs and thoughts not to be diminished.
Croatia:
· For the radio announcements on 2 stations to bring many new guests to the Gospel meetings in Varazdin. Pray for God’s word to melt the hearts of the people for Him.
· For the radio ministry of Pastor Vlado and Renata, headquartered in Zagreb. It is bringing much fruit and people are calling in for counseling. Ask God to give them much wisdom and His words in answer to the heart’s cry (hungry souls) of the people.
· For the CDs and materials people request after hearing the Christian broadcasts. Pray blessing over them and help in producing and distributing them.
· For the lost and hurting of Zagreb and across the nation struggling in life. Life-giving churches like theirs in Zagreb are “peaceful resorts†for them as they receive love and respect through God’s love for them. Pray these places abound across Croatia.
Kosova: Please pray
· For the situation developing in Kosova. The UNMIK force, scheduled to leave by the end of the year but now delaying because they see Serbia ready to assert her claims – an explosive potential. The outcome here could influence the whole region.
· For radical Wahibi Islamists imbedded in the midst of this. Many of the Albanians are becoming disenfranchised with the whole situation because they are feeling that the Albanian Islamic way is being hijacked by the Arabs.
· For this disenfranchisement to become an opening to share the truth. We have a testimony to that effect regarding a former Muslim and his acquaintances already.
· For five-fold ministry leaders from Albania and Macedonia to lend a hand to the church of Kosova as they deal with these difficult struggles.
Macedonia: Please pray
· For conflicts and tensions between Orthodox Macedonians and Muslim Albanians in Macedonia to find reconciliation. Pray that reconciliation being seen among Christians from these two ethnic groups will also happen in the general population.
· Into the vision of one ministry team that sees this as a process requiring a multi-generational strategy. Pray for God’s wisdom and direction as this strategy unfolds.

Montenegro: Please pray

The Evangelical Church of Ulqin is being established. They ask for prayer for a gathering place.
· For the 3 existing evangelical churches, as they process the fruits of their annual 1-day conference in Niksik. “There might be as many as 100 evangelical believers in the countryâ€Â. Pray that the gospel explode forth and reach many for Christ.
· For Roma and Egyptian (Magjup, Jevg) Kosovar refugees (4000-7000) in MN. “Every one of their camps has been evangelized by Albanian believers†and God is moving. At least 6 camp sites children and adults are coming to the Lord.
· For a Christian couple having a vision to build a meat processing plant in Gusinje. This kingdom business would employ people, process and export good quality meat in keeping with the fine reputation from these mountains of inner MN. They have been facing lots of bureaucratic and financial problems and need lots of prayers.
· For people to come to this area to church plant among the Albanians and Bosnians (Slavic Muslims) living there.
Serbia: Please pray
· For workers in Serbia to open their arms wide with God’s love and word to searching citizens of this troubled nation. A smile, hello and availability to talk drew one lonely night guard to join the willing servant of the Lord for Sunday services.
· For hungry people like this person that long to be set free from the bonds that holds them. Jesus came to set free the captives. So many are captive here – may they hear the message of Jesus Christ that will set them free.
· Regarding Serbia's controversial new Religion Law – admitted by the President to break the European Convention on Human Rights. Since its inception, no so-called "non-traditional" religious communities have received state registration. The Baptist Union says they will not apply, as they regard it discriminatory and its conditions as unacceptable.
