Ezekiel 35:2 Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it.

Mount Seir is Edom and Edom is Esau – Russia.

35:3-5 And say unto it, ‘Thus saith the Lord GOD; ‘Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out Mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

When “city†is used it doesn’t necessarily refer to a city as we know it. It can be symbolic for a group of believers. Such as, the great city Babylon….Satan’s city, which is world-wide. The cities of Russia, the people that aren’t of God, are part of the great city Babylon. And…they shall be desolate.

Another consideration is…who does Russia have a “perpetual hatred†for? America is the answer and they are the ….children of Israel. They are the “house of Israel.†They, along with other Christian nations, are where the lost sheep of the house of Israel were scattered by our Father.

Jacob/Israel, father of the twelve tribes, all of which are Israel. However, the twelve tribes split into two factions. The house of Judah (Jews) are of Judah and Benjamin. The other ten tribes, the house of Israel, are the lost sheep God scattered and Christ was sent to find. He found us and we are now Christians.

When we read of Russia coming against Israel “in the time of their calamity,†which would be the time of Jacob’s Trouble….consider that it is not just the little speck of land that became a nation named Israel in 1948 but could be much closer to home. The "Israel" the prophecy referred to are all of the tribes....not just two. Esau/Russia has hated Jacob/Israel from the beginning...a "perpetual hatred."

Genesis 25:22-25 And the children struggled together within her; and she said, "If it be so, why am I thus?" And she went to enquire of the LORD. And the LORD said unto her, "Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people and the elder shall serve the younger." And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

Two nations....America and Russia. Two types of people....Christian and Atheist. One was red...the red nation and where America is symbolized by the eagle....Russia is the bear, which is hairy all over. The current leader of Russia is Medevev, which means...The Bear!

Our Father said that the twins Esau and Jacob, that strugged in their mother's womb, would be two nations. Scripture points to mount Seir being Esau, Idumea or....Russia as one nation and they have a "perpetual hatred" toward their brother Jacob. The house of Israel are today's Christian nations (America, England, Canada, Australia, etc.) but it must be narrowed down to one other nation as only two nations were in her womb. The two superpowers today are....Russia and America.

Ezekiel 35:10-11 Because thou hast said, 'These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it;' whereas the LORD was there: therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, 'I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

Does Russia want the nation of Israel? No. They may want to help destroy it but they don't want to possess it.

35:12 And thou shalt know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, 'They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.'

What and where are the "mountains of Israel?"

3:14-15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; 'When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate. As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.' ' "

There we see that it is the "house of Israel" that Russia wants to possess, to consume....not the house of Judah (Jews or today's nation of Israel). Where the house of Israel is today is where the "mountains of Israel" are. A question would be, do "mountains" as used in these verses mean literal mountains or, as if often the case, is mountain symbolic of nation?

Ezekiel 38:2-3 "Son of man, set they face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, And say, 'Thus saith the Lord GOD; 'Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

Tubal Cain was one of Cain's children. "Chief" means Rosh, changed to Roush and means...Russia. "Meshech" is of old and is where Moscow is today. So, Moscow, the prince of Russia is the government. Gog is a "barbarous northern region." Tubal was a little south of there. God is against them! :swords

38:5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

38:8-9 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.'

38:11-12 And thou shalt say, 'I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates. To take a spoil, and to take a prey;' to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are not inhabited, and upon the People that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

This is NOT the nation of Israel. Jerusalem has never dwelt safely, has never been at rest. But, the description does fit....America. We are "gathered out of many people," "out of the nations," we "dwell safely all of them," we are "at rest," and we are a wealthy nation "which have gotten cattle and goods."

So, what are the uninhabited places, mountains of Israel, being written of?

Which analogy is wacky? Which one has nothing to do with which other?

Do you not see that it is Russia being written of? Do you not see that it is not the little speck of land, now named Israel, that is being written of? I quoted many Scriptures where God was telling us about this end time event....what part do you disagree with? What "two nations" do you believe Esau and Jacob represent? :dunno

In a previous post it was brought forward that the end time prophecy of Gog and Magog is not about the "land" of the nation of Israel. I repeat.....

This is NOT the nation of Israel. Jerusalem has never dwelt safely, has never been at rest. But, the description does fit....America. We are "gathered out of many people," "out of the nations," we "dwell safely all of them," we are "at rest," and we are a wealthy nation "which have gotten cattle and goods."

So, what are the uninhabited places, mountains of Israel, being written of?

The battle of Gog and Magog is not the same battle as Armageddon, which is a spiritual battle, a spiritual gathering of forces. If the mountains where the Magog battle will be fought is not in the land of the nation of Israel....where will it be? It will be where those of the "house of Israel," the lost sheep, were scattered. As it concerns two nations, one of which is Russia, then America is the most likely candidate that fits all the criteria written above.

Ezekiel 39:1-2 Therefore thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, 'Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:

39:4-6 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD, And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

39:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the noses of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog.

God fights this battle for us so that "they shall know that I am the LORD." Consider what or where the mountains of Israel are (knowing Israel is not the nation of Israel). Russia will "come up from the north parts" into mountains that have been waste.

A man named Seward purchased Alaska from Russia for America. Seward's Peninsula freezes in the winter and the two twin brothers....Russia and America are almost touching again. Is Alaska the mountains of Israel in the prophecy?
