We had one good thing happen that was significant. Our son's gaming channel received it's 100th subscriber and while this is just a tiny drop in the bucket of the number of subscribers needed to call the channel financially successful, getting 100 subscribers caused the channel to pass some sort of threshold that triggered a game developer to offer our son a free glimpse with access to a pre-release game so our son could play, comment and rate the game online. This priviledged access could bring in even more subscribers and begin a more rapid growth cycle.
On the down side, someone apparently sprayed some kind of chemical(pepper spray?) through our backyard fence into our dogs' faces and eyes causing them pain. Someone also jumped the curb in front of our how with their vehicle and left tire marks in our yard. Both my debit card and my son's debit card were blocked by the bank. My wife called to get them unblocked but the bank refused due to suspicious activity. When we requested exactly what suspicious activity they declined to answer. After haggling why I'm being treated as a criminal and threatening to call back on a smart phone equipped to record phonecalls, the service guy abruptly ended the call and the cards were unblocked.
