Okay so this is a favorite hymn for the Lord's Supper:

'If now with eyes defiled and dim,
We see the signs, but see not Him,
O may His love the scales displace,
And bid us see Him face to face.'

(From: 'Amids us our Beloved stands'.)

Let all mortal flesh keep silence,
and with fear and trembling stand;
ponder nothing earthly-minded,
for with blessing in his hand,
Christ our God to earth descendeth,
our full homage to demand.

King of kings, yet born of Mary,
as of old on earth he stood,
Lord of lords, in human vesture,
in the body and the blood;
he will give to all the faithful
his own self for heavenly food.

We're rehearsing a "new" one (ok, new to me) for the next Lord's Supper we have. Here's part of it ...

In remembrance of Me eat this bread
In remembrance of Me drink this wine
In remembrance of Me pray for the time
When God's own will is done

In remembrance of me heal the sick
In remembrance of me feed the poor
In remembrance of me open the door
And let your brother in, let him in

'Only bread, and only wine,
But to faith the solemn sign
Of the heavenly and divine,
We give Thee thanks, O Lord.'

PS: I'm trying to remember who wrote this.
