Yesterday I spent the day doing what I've been doing every Saturday for the last three years, working at the community food kitchen our little church runs as an outreach mission. We offer hot meals (real meals prepared by chefs, not just soup and cold sandwiches) to the local community. We serve more than 200 people every Saturday, and yesterday we served our 50,000th meal...what a milestone!

We praise the Lord for the blessings He's provided us by sharing the abundance through offering hot meals and warm Christian fellowship to those around us who need comforting. :pray

As someone who used to be homeless, I really appreciate you volunteering for those people.

Reminds me of the year when my family helped at thanksgiving time in the worst part of Oakland. Thanks for all you do to bless others!
