Greetings,

Please listen to the new song, Psalm 23, at this link... http://davidasaphproject.com/pastoral-psalms-album/psalm-23-sample This is the fifth track on our new album, entitled Pastoral Psalms, released last week. Please note that there is a peaceful guitar and bass intro before the vocals enter. The text of Psalm 23 is set to a new melody, word for word from the KJV translation.

What is your impression of the song? Whatever feedback you can provide is much appreciated.

Thank you!
David Albracht

Pretty voice. The intro doesn't pull me, other than curiosity to see where it's going, however the fuller instrumental with the acoustic is quite lovely.

Thank you, Deborah! Nice to know that you think that the string instrumental and acoustic works well.

You are the first person to provide feedback for this album that was released last week.

Have good night,
David

Different and pleasant; good job. Welcome to CF.net in Jesus' name. :wave2

The instrumentation and the singing are wonderfull. I enjoyed it. But I, too, thought the intro was too long.

Thank you SO MUCH everyone for the very helpful feedback. Because many of you have had similar impressions about the intro being too long, I am going to see about doing a "radio edit" where the song sample version available for listening on the website and SoundCloud has a very short intro, or possibly none... It is too late to change the intro on the final CD (and therefore it cannot be changed)... but "radio edits" often become more listened to than final album versions anyway... :)

You guys and gals are great.

Thank again!

Blessings,
David
