I know we are to trust God with finances. We read our Bible daily, pray as family and tithe without reservation. We pray hard. And God has always delivered. We need some extra prayer from the prayer warriors out there.
We had a baby last year and we knew the first year would be a little ugly financially now with just one income. We really want to keep my wife home and not have her take a job and put the kid in daycare if possible.
A couple of companies have talked to us about part time work--including making a website I've been doing on pro bono/free basis becoming a paid ongoing project, my wife teaching gymnastics classes part time at a local gym (no childcare needed in that case), etc...a lot of things that would be just enough to allow us to break even.
We're not trying to get rich, just trying to get by month to month. But with insurance, gas, electricity nearly doubling over the last year, it's really tough making ends meet. But we know God will provide if we pray hard enough and have enough faith. He always has, always will.
