Fire dream

If this is the wrong forum for this feel free to tell me. i am a dreamer i recieve dreams from God i get an occasional vision and have been taken into the spiritual realm a few times. Now i am still pretty new in faith not even two years in it but Fire has always had great meaning to me in my faith and i have an occasional dream or vision involving fire.

this one is still recent and seems to speak a lot to me. In this dream i ws being strangled by the enemy[satan] and i was engulfed by fire which i believe was the holy spirit and this fire is how i fought him. he whispered to me [ your not strong enough] as I have always worried about never being strong enough in God. But his words didnt weaken me instead I was filled with even more strength and the fire kept growing fiercer and stronger without limit.

the force of the fire grew so strong it woke me up in a state of shock still recovering from the power of the fire.

That was in the OT.Their was a Biblical purpose for those dreams then.

The New Testament also speaks about people having prophetic dreams. Joseph was warned in a dream so he took Mary and baby Jesus to Egypt. Peter had a dream vision about being allowed to eat unclean food.
Plus the verses Gary quoted speak about the end times as far as I remember.

Yes the Bible is complete. But Many people experience personal communication with God that strengthens their faith. When we sleep our rational logical mental filters are down and people dream in images and metaphors. That's a great chance for the Holy Spirit to talk to us.

(However, I tend to agree with Kathi that almost all of the time our dreams are just dreams. If we consider any weird dream a message from above we'll go crazy. And people that are very interested in spiritual things will of course experience more dreams about spiritual stuff, we just dream about things that are important in our mind. But that's not prophetic dreaming, that's just "normal" dreaming. You'd need some real good discernment to recognise prophetic dreams.)

The same Holy Spirit that inspired the written word of God, leads and guides us into all truth. The Spirit led person will not only have dreams and visions but the gifts of the Spirit as well.

Jesus said My sheep hear My Voice.

Faith comes by hearing God.... Not by reading the bible.

As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.

By faith Abraham left his fathers house.... Before there was any scriptures.

By faith Noah moved with godly fear and built an Ark... Before there were any scriptures.

We need to know much more than what's in the bible, everyday.

You search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life....

I dont count ever dream from God I have had many of them but I only get them occasionally. but when you have a dream from God trust me you'll know
