Many of God’s children are torn by the idea of rapture. Is there one, is it before or after the tribulation? Why does it matter, should it matter? When reading the following Scriptures we clearly see God giving us an example, showing us all about a rapture. Paul wrote….

1 Corinthians 10:11-12 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall......Knowing that…what example did He give us? A little background is needed:

11 Kings 18:11 And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

The twelve tribes of Israel were split. The two southern tribes of Judah and Benjamin (the Jews) are the house of Judah. The other ten tribes are the house of Israel. Those tribes were "carried away" by the king of Assyria (a future type for Satan). This is as it is today. The "house of Israel" was scattered by God, never returned to Judaea and they are....CHRISTIANS. As the house of Israel historically took part in idolatry so is the house of Israel today....Some of our Christian churches have doctrine that is clearly against His Word…idolatry!

This historic account is telling us what will be! There is nothing new under the sun. As you read this realize...it is what will be.

18:17 And the king of Assyria sent Tartan and Rabsaris and Rab-shakeh from Lachish to king Hezekiah with a great host against Jerusalem. And they went up and came to Jerusalem. And when they were come up, they came and stood by the conduit of the upper pool, which is in the highway of the fuller's field.

The house of Israel had already been taken captive and now the Assyrian king (a type for Satan) is coming against the king of the house of Judah, king Hezakiah...a great king that loved the Lord (a type for Christ). This foretells of the future event, the great tribulation...

Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon……Armageddon, the "gathering place of the crowds" is where the king of Assyria/Satan calls those in Jerusalem to come out so he can question them...deceive them. That is the great battle. Jerusalem is, of course, a real geographical location but in the future sense Jerusalem is a type for God's holy city...His children. Satan will call out God's elect in the end of days. They are the two witnesses of end times.

The king of Judah (Christ) sent out two sons...types for the two witnesses of which there are two groups. Satan will ask them..."What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?" [18:19] Satan's men ask why they rebel against him and then attempt to bribe them by asking the witnesses to "give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria" in exchange for horses ( if they could supply riders, which was a ruse to see how many warriors they had). Then Satan's man said..â€ÂHear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria:

18:29-30 Thus saith the king, 'Let not Hezekiah deceive you: for he shall not be able to deliver you out of his hand: Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD saying, 'The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.'

18:31 Hearken not to Hezekiah:' for thus saith the king of Assyria, 'Make an agreement with me by a present, and come out to me, and then eat ye every man of his own vine, and every one of his fig tree, and drink ye every one the waters of his cistern:

18:32 Until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of corn and wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of oil olive and of honey, that ye may live, and not die: and hearken not unto Hezekiah, when he persuadeth you, saying, 'The LORD will deliver us....there we see the promise of a rapture, taking them away to the promised land if they just pledge their love.

18:35 Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?'"…..Jerusalem here is a type for God’s children, His holy city.

18:36 But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, "Answer him not."…….This is when the one unforgiveable sin can be committed:

Luke 12:10-12 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say." For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say."……And when does this happen? Back to God’s example to us:

11 Kings 19:3 And they said unto him, "Thus saith Hezekiah, 'This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth. …..This is telling us of:

Revelation 12:4-5 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to His throne.

These Scriptures are a foretelling of the end of days, the tribulation of Satan. He comes to deceive God’s children by promising them gifts, and asking for pledges ( pledging their love to him). If we give him our pledge then he promises to take us to the promised land and that we will “live and not die.†That is our example of what the promise of rapture will be. The fake christ will lie and say that He is Christ and that Satan will soon arrive to torture them and they will surely die. And...he will deceive the world!

God has painted a picture of what will be. Will we believe His warning, our example for the end of days, or…..fall for the deception?

1 Cor 3:18-19
18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world,
let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. KJV

We set ourselves up for deception when we take the words of man and make them equal to the words of scripture ....IT IS WRITTEN!

Very true and....so many willingly, gladly, take "pleasure in unrighteousness."

11 Thessalonians 2:10-12 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

So.....

A. Pleasure in unrighteousness
B. Receive not the LOVE of the TRUTH
C. Delusion to believe a lie
Equates to .... a FAKE RAPTURE

The deception is cloaked over as an 'angel of light'!
How will we recognize which 'angel of light' is false and which is true?

2 Cor 11:14
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. KJV

Yes, it certainly does equate to just that...a fake rapture. :yes And, just look at the consequences. :crying

Excuse me for acting naive for a moment. Thanks.

How can there be a "fake" rapture? How can anyone, satan included, remove millions upon millions of believers from earth, let alone preform a resurrection of dead believers?

Either there or isn't a rapture. :confused

The false rapture doctrine, which teaches that all good children will be flown away before the tribulation, is the "fake rapture" promise...a lie. After the tribulation (of Satan) which is deception....those that did not take the mark, etc. are gathered and then....the wrath of God. The tribulation and wrath are not the same event as Christ teaches (man doesn't but Christ does.)
