Hey All,
I am guessing this is a spiritual matter, and not physical. If it is your physical heart, you have to go to the doctor/hospital and get it checked out.
However, if it is spiritual, we can deal with it here. You have to keep that armor on that Paul wrote about in
Ephesians 6:13-17 My Dreams. The breastplate of righteousness protects your heart. That's very poetic language.
What does it mean?
Being righteous simply means being right with God.
How are you right with God? You confess your sins, and try make amends when possible. (This is putting your faith in action.)
When you do this, your burden will be lifted. Your fellowship with God will be fully restored. Your joy will return.
I am agreeing with you on the restoration of your heart. Let's pray:
Father, you know My Dreams heart even better than she knows it. Give her, in whatever way you choose to do it, what it takes to restore it. We thank you and praise you for your mercy and grace. We pray in Jesus' name, amen.
Finally, I want to show you what David wrote when he was feeling down.
Psalms 51:10-13
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
I typed the main passage. But you should read the whole chapter. David felt the way you are feeling. This Psalm is a wonderful example of how to get your heart right with God.
It is good that you are not choosing to stay down. Let God restore you. You can do it. The mustard seed of faith that can move mountains, can also put you back on the straight and narrow way. Find that straight and narrow way. Keep your head up. Put all of your armor on. And keep walking. I hope this helps.
Keep walking everybody. May God bless,
Taz
