Here (below) is a copy of a thread that I've started in General Talk. It's about change. It's also about vision, for rightly does the Proverb say, "Without a vision, the people perish."
I find myself in the position of a town crier earnestly wanting to say, "Expand your walls, make ready the way. Look beyond the horizon and unbow yourselves, those who are burdened, for your Redeemer draws nigh."
I find myself in the position of supplicant, earnestly wanting to ask, "Lord. Cause us to turn our hearts, to carry the burdens shared by the members of Your body, willingly and lovingly. Send intercessors! I do call, hear my cry even here, in the wilderness."
Show us here and show my impatient soul even now what it is that was said by your Spirit as our brother James wrote saying, "As we draw nigh unto God, God draws nigh unto us!" I am thirsty for You, for Your uprightness and Your glory to be seen, even as You have sworn to our Fathers from the beginning.
Cause us to draw close to You, draw us by your Spirit and be here with us even as we join ourselves unto the tasks given and found in our hands, let us add our voice to yours and rightly say, "We are about our Father's business," both in spirit and in truth.
We do so Love You and desire to become more and more like You. The words spoken for the last days are in me. You gave them to me. Your words, the very word that Your Father provided, the word, unchanged and given through John from Your Reveal:
Open our ears that we may hear you and that our joy may be made full.

Soon comes change. Have you seen the announcement that our Admin Mike made? Here's a link: CF.net is Moving. READ THIS!
Could it be that this change comes in part as answer to our prayers? Will we continue to pray and invite Jesus to come and dine with us even way out here in the nooks and crannies (amongst the pits, cliffs and crags) of our little corner of the wilderness, also known as the Internet and the World Wide Web?
Will He cause His Spirit and His Peace to inhabit us even here? Will rivers of living waters flow? Shall there be a valley in the wilderness, so that we become more than a oasis and where rivers of living water are seen to burst forth?
Might we establish ourselves by becoming more than a place for people to argue and discuss, by speaking the truth in kindness and become known for providing the milk of the Word? Will there be more than those just weaned added to our membership to provide for the growth anticipated?
Lord, cause us to have a vision for Your people, be our "Cause-it-to-happen" and strengthen us as you guide each and every one, for we know and trust You in this and in all things.
Forum, let us pray.

The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let the one who hears say, "Come!" Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes ...
