Bible Study Fruit Of The Spirit

Friday 11-22-19, Cheshvan 24, 5780 6th. day of the weekly cycle, 61st. Fall day,

The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is a biblical term that sums up nine attributes of a person or community living in accord with the Holy Spirit, according to chapter 5 of the Epistle to the Galatians: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." The fruit is contrasted with the works of the flesh which immediately precede it in this chapter.

Fruit Of The Spirit: Galatians Five:22-26 KJV

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Thank you for this wonderful study.

I and the entire staff at CF.net strive to cultivate an atmosphere where the fruit of the spirit can both be seen and matured in each of our lives for the purpose of building up the body of Christ and glorifying Christ.

Cultivating this kind of community is difficult, especially when we ourselves fail to produce the fruit of the spirit when dealing with obstinate or difficult people.

Pray for us.
