I'd just like to announce that I am shipping my husband and my youngest child off to Wyoming for a week in a little less than 12 hours... :D

I'd also like to add that my oldest is spending the night at her Great-Grandmothers house for 2 nights... :D

This means that I will have close to 48 hours of silence, and a (mostly) clean house for an entire week. (My oldest is pretty clean; the two other "children" mentioned above are not.) :D

I have been seriously praying for something like this for a very, very, very long time...

I have four books I haven't read and two dvd's enroute via the U.S Postal Service...

Not sure if this is exactly "topic" worthy, but since I'm too cheap to rent billboard space, this is the next best thing.

Great films! I've seen tham and read the books so mony times I can't keep count.

I like B&J's OK, but I'm big into buying local first so I tend to get Farr's made right here in Ogden Utah, I love Ogden lowest Mormon population in the state!

I hope you enjoy. I would also suggest spending that whole time just talking with God (out loud) in an ongoing 48 hour conversation...watch movies and read books together. It's so nice to spend an entire weekend alone with just Him. The Lord bless you.

Well, I got a little over 24 hours of "alone time" in; it started snowing and the grandparents returned my oldest around 2pm today, because they were afraid they were going to get stuck and not be able to get her to school tomorrow. We ate dinner out, bought The Never Ending Story (YES! My all-time favorite movie from when I was a child), and then came back and took baths, watched the movie, and played Go Fish. I won both games, even though I seriously tried not to...hard.

I would also suggest spending that whole time just talking with God (out loud) in an ongoing 48 hour conversation...watch movies and read books together. It's so nice to spend an entire weekend alone with just Him.

I agree -- I need to. There's a dozen different things going on right now, and I need a little direction. I'm done with my internship, and I need to decide what to do next. I'm graduating in June and have my ATA, so I think I need to be doing something with it, but I really want to continue going to school. It means I need to look for part-time work in the medical field (which means quitting my job at the school...NO! Or continuing to take classes for transfer, so I can eventually get my B.A. :yes But it doesn't really make sense that I've spent 2 years getting my ATA if I'm not even going to use it. But I don't want to quit my job at the school. So I'm asking for direction all week this week.

You can see I need it, just from that paragraph :rolling !
