ever noticed comic strips like Annie, and Archie, not to mention Hi and Lois as well as Beetle Bailey all have a leaning toward the Masonic?
It's not always in your face obvious, but it is in there if you know what to look for. It's weird. It's not in every cartoon like Snuffy Smiths use of the devil salute, or the "go long horns" salute, as it's been called. Even Moma uses the ever popular lightening bolt shaped s in every panel.
Maybe no one reads the comics anymore, while even fewer people read between the lines. Take the Wizard of Id for an example.
