Update link: Stanton loses his bid to keep his job.

In a 5 - 2 vote, the Largo City Commission voted 5-2 to terminate City Manager Steve Stanton.

Former Largo city manager Steve Stanton has submitted his resume to the city of Sarasota as 'Susan Stanton.' That name change is the reason he was fired as city manager of Largo last month. Now, he has applied to become the next city manager of Sarasota.

All we can do is pray for her and folks like her or he or it :o

It makes me appreciate WHO I am, and WHOSE I am.

It makes me want others to be able to have that same appreciaition.

In the fear of having someone mistake understanding for acceptance, I believe we (Christians) sometimes keep ourselves in the area of condemnation.

Jesus Christ was able to understand without accepting sinful behavior - may we all be able to have that same knowledge and grace.
