You know JLB, I heard a sermon when I was in my teens that encouraged us to give to God, if we love Him, that which He cannot buy for Him, our obedience. If you love Him, you will make yourself choose to obey what you know He wants you to do whether you feel like it or not in the moment. It is the gift we can give Him and He values that gift. I never forgot that.
