Here's a fun experiment. I wonder how exactly this works. (Also for the record I heard Ba, Ba, Ba with my eyes shut and open and when it was silent I saw the Da, Da, Da.)

What I mean is how our eyes see the world affects what our mind thinks.

A fun one is some glasses they invented that made food portions look bigger than they really were, people felt fuller on smaller serving sizes. The eyes were telling the brain, "Wow, this is a lot of food!" When it really wasn't.

Also, the way food looks affects how it tastes to us. If we were given a nasty looking dish, we are probably going to expect a bad taste so we are prepared for that. Ever eat an olive thinking it was a grape because of how it looked? You would be shocked as your eyes and mind prepared you for sweet and you get a salty savory flavor. Or drinking unsweetened iced tea thinking it was a soda? Same thing.

I sort of get what you're saying now except I don't eat olives. Sort of like this kind of concept.
