First off: I am an athiest. That being said, I have always pondered how Christians view heaven in this day and age. We now know that "up" is a very relative term. "Up" at the equater is a very different point in space then "Up" at the poles. So where is heaven? (and this is not a sarcastic question, im geniunely interested). I've though perhaps it is in a different dimension (not in the scifi channel sense of the word). I never really quite understood how the bible intermingled with western science. I understand that God and faith in the bible cannot be proven or disproven (Atheists are not trying to disprove God, btw), but what we do know very often conflicts with "the one truth word".
