Can somebody please explain this very difficult verse for me.

2 cor 13:14
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

In pauls benidiction could it be that he embraces all three members of the Trinity??

No couldn't be. There is no such thing as the trinity.
Well, I will wait for some answers.

O darn. I tell you what would confuse me. If it said the grace God the Son, the Love of God the Father, and the fellowship of God the Holy Spirit, then I would seriously have to question what the one true God (our heavenly Father) has revealed to me.

Which "member" does the benediction identify as "God"?

It could be that Paul viewed them as three seperate but equal entities.

You my friend are exactly right. :biggrin This is what paul is saying in this lovely benediction. The only verse in Pauls writings that embraces the triune God.

Equal in power, equal in glory and equally God but separate in person.
