ok i know how to speak englsih enough.
but i have this problem in difficulty with talking through the internet, ever since i got sick..

now i was hoping somebody could help me out or pray for me that in what i post on this forum or anywhere on the net will be clear and understandable by the readers of it.

If you're not sure how to say something, then you could try using Google Translate (translate.google.com). It's not perfect, but it seems to work pretty well. I just copied a chapter (Eph. 4) out of the Dutch Bible (Het Boek) from biblegateway.com and translated it using Google Translate. It translated verse 27 as "give the devil a chance", in stead of "don't give the devil a chance". Also, some words were in the wrong order, but it was pretty understandable.

I wouldn't suggest it for everything, but when you're not sure how to say something, it can help.

What is your sickness?
As for English, just write, the more you write the better it will get! If there is a misunderstanding just remind people that English isn`t your first language so please be patient. Anyway, I think everyone is interested in what you have to say so please share!

my sickness is paranoid schizofrenia.

so i am xtra happy with the way y'all respond ty ty ty.
i'll certainly remain active here. i used (still am) be active at a dutch forum for schizofrenia, but i can not talk there about jesus and such..

so i am more active here now.

I`m glad you are made to feel welcome here as any brother or sister in Christ should. I am also glad you can freely express your feelings and thoughts about God. Every now and then though you might get a sharp reply from someone, we all do, so never take that too seriously but if it really hurts you, then let someone know and I am sure your brother and sisters will try to stand up and look out for you! But you seem like such a nice person, maybe you will never get a harsh reply!

on schizforum i openned a topic/thread about being banned from forums. and there was said it seemed so weird since i am found very nice indeed

i sort of have my own thoughts why i got banned and all. allways makes me think of the winepress.)the story jesus gives about the man who lives in another country and sends somoene to collect the cash.. )but thats not what this topic is about.

i will work activily and follow up the advices, and try to use comas and such´to make myself as clear as i can.

btw thx to to those who say i am not understandable, and still mostly decifer what i say:D. since thats open and honest and then i can try to say the same in another way (of typing) so that it is clear or then explained.

It must be confirmed then that you are indeed nice!!! As for being banned, people can be kind of picky sometimes so I would not worry about it. Just feel welcome here and enjoy!!!!

i was diagnosed with that after i was locked up.. which might have caused me to be paranoid still today.

i will open up a thread under general talk about locking up people who basicly done nothing, compared to murderers..and such

I've responded to a couple of your posts and figured I wasn't understanding you just because English isn't your first language. Never would have guessed you have schizophrenia (however that is spelled). Knowing that, I would say you are doing tremendously well with communicating in English! Keep it up! Try to be patient with us when we don't understand you too, ok? Maybe if someone on here speaks Dutch, they could help you translate when they see you are having trouble...

My mother tongue is Afrikaans which is similar to Dutch. Xoun, give me a shout if you need help. ;) I normally translate your posts back to Dutch because I understand it beter that way.

I speak perfect Afrikaans. Our sentence construction is different to Dutch, but you recognise the words and then you just draw your own conclusions.

Dutch - Goedemorgen, Xounster. Vraag als je hulp nodig? We zijn hier om te helpen.
Afrikaans - Goeie more, Xounster. Vra asseblief as jy hulp nodig het? Ons is hier om te help.
