How a Christian must look like

If you are talking about what the bible means by "modest," you are correct.
In the passages where it says that, it is NOT talking about how much skin you are or are not showing; rather, it is about not flaunting wealth or social position.
My husband says same. Amen! Thank you brother.

Let it (the adorning) be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. - 1 Peter 3:4

in Europa and many other non Arabic cultures . women often sun bathe with no tops on.
yet it's not proper .

you can desensitize it .

should churches serve beer like the way Germans allow minors to drink .yes in Germany a beer is often like coffee at meals to them .

I have a German American who grew up that way .they dont drink hard liquor like that or have an alcohol problem

Regarding how we are to look and what appearance is most godly, a man at a church event recently preached that circumcision is a symbol of covenant and holiness. My husband is not circumcised (but our sons are) and I thought maybe I should ask the visiting preacher does he mean that my husband should become circumcised to be most holy? I get it that Jesus was circumcised and I personally asked that our sons be also circumcised when they were born (I think it best). I hope I didn't hurt my husband's feelings though about it but our kids were born here in the US and it is custom here and I felt it best for them. In the Bible, I know that circumcision was established as a covenant between God and Abraham in Genesis 17:10-14, where God commands that every male among His people be circumcised as a sign of their dedication to Him. This act symbolizes spiritual purity and obedience, right? In Romans 2:29, Paul spoke of circumcision of the heart, but the physical practice remained significant in Jewish tradition and was even observed by Jesus (Luke 2:21), right? So, beyond its spiritual meaning, many think (including me) circumcision can also be seen as enhancing the appearance of the male body , aligning with the biblical principle that God's design is good (Genesis 1:31) and clean, that refinement and consecration bring even greater beauty. Many find a circumcised appearance more aesthetically pleasing, reflecting cleanliness, order, and divine intention, -a body prepared as a living sacrifice even.

And the congregation I grew up in considered even accidentally smelling alcohol of any type as the sin of drunkenness.

While it is not considered clothing, I guess when naked, it is a part of how a guy looks.

That said, the scripture is very clear on the purpose of circumcision. It is a mark of being part of the Mosaic and Abrahamic covenants. It is not required under the New Covenant. In fact Paul spoke against it for the gentile believers in Galatia; and more so against those who claimed it was required.

That does not mean that it is worthless. To the contrary, IMO it shows the continuity and linkage between the Mosaic and New Covenants, along with the blessings of such.

there are extremes being drunk is a sin but let's be honest .name a man who has drink often and not commuted either buzzed driving or drunk driving .

I'm not a tee totaler but I have seen most that drink do exactly that . they either were caught or admit it.
