Evolutionists Opinion.
One researcher, Uner Tan of Çukurova University in Adana, Turkey, has controversially claimed that the quadrupeds have reverted back to an evolutionary stage before humans walked upright

Creationist Opinion.
But others denounced that interpretation. “That was an outrageous claim,†says psychologist Nicholas Humphrey of the London School of Economics, who has also studied the condition. “It didn’t make any sense in genetic or evolutionary terms.â€Â

But it must be Evolution :smt120

Those with the condition also suffer from mental retardation and poor balance.

Are you that desperate Guys, i mean seriously... If any one agrees that this is evolution my hand and forehead will be working overtime

Evolution doesn't just produce good, it also produces bad for various reasons. It gives us opposable thumbs and hiccups. Our brains and depression. They're not desperately trying to find evidence for evolution, we don't need to do that. They're just putting forth hypotheses for an observed trait and arguing over it, pretty much what scientists do all the time.
If you viewed this as an appeal to the general public to accept evolutionary theory then I can see why you'd be confused.

Technically wouldn't everyone be a product of evolution? By default they would be a product of it too.

Anything that is transferred through heredity is a slow and steady process of evolution. Why is a family with some detrimental health conditions worthy of a forehead slap? By saying "de-evolved," that can mean it's not advantageous for survival, which would generally be true.

It doesn't necessarily mean they literally reverted back to their ancestral roots. If a guy was claiming that, I'd love to hear his reasoning for it.

These unfortunate people have a genetic disorder that makes it difficult to walk upright. They also have mild retardation and some other health problems. They don't walk like apes, because they retain the human proportions, leg and hip musculature and lower backs.

The retired physician who came up with this, apparently has little or no training in evolutionary theory.

No surprise there.

This is no proof of evolution, these people suffer. :(
