It had to be a pure and holy God, that, would die for the sin of Adam, and for all of us. We were born in sin, in the loins of Adam, and need to be born again, just as Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3.

"A NEW HEART also will I give you, and A NEW SPIRIT will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments and do them." Ezek 36:26,27.

The Lord knew Adam and Eve would sin, so He provided His Son to be an offering to redeem us back to Him. "...the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Rev 13:8.

This verse, as quoted, doesn't support Trinitarianism. It supports modalism. For modalists believe that God is a single divine Individual who expresses Himself in three modes or "faces" --- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Thus the child that is born, the Son Jesus is "The mighty God" and "the Everlasting Father". For there is only one divine Person. Some people who think they are Trinitarians are actually Modalists. Examples of modern modalists are The United Pentecostal Church and various branches of The Apostolic Church.

Classic Trinitarians, on the other hand, believe that God is a compound Being composed of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. No member of the Trinity IS any other member.

The New Testament writers quoted Old Testament passages from the Septuagint, a translation from a reliable Hebrew text to Greek between the 3rd and 1st centuries B.C. It differs considerably from the Masoretic text from which our Old Testaments were translated, a text which, according to Wikipedia "was primarily copied, edited and distributed by a group of Jews known as the Masoretes between the seventh and tenth centuries AD."

An English translation of the Septuagint text of Isaiah 9:6 reads as follows:

Adam, God's son, could of been a everlasting father if he had not sinned as he would have never died and been a living everlasting human father of mankind, but as we know he died.

Jesus Christ, God's Son, replaces Adam as and everlasting father for mankind but he proved to be faithful, thus he will never die:-

The Word = The Law...In Psalm 119, the word, "Word," is used interchangebly with, "law," "commandments," "judgments," "precepts," "statutes," "testimonies."

We are born again by His Word: "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth forever." I Pet 1:23;Ja 1:18; John 15:3; Eph 5:25,26.

Obeying His Word keeps us from sin: "Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Ps 119:11.

His Word Guides us: "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Ps 119:105,67,103.

His Word is Bread to our spirit: Jesus said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matt 4:4.

"Thy Words were found and I did eat them; and thy Word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of my heart..." Jer 15:16.

Faith comes by the Word:"So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." Rom 10:17.

The Roman Centurion...said...but, speak the Word, only, and my servant shall be healed." Mt 8:8.
Jesus responded, "Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." Mt 8:10.

Healing an Deliverance come by His Word: "He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." Ps 107:20.

Those who obey God's Word are more blessed than Mary: "...a certain woman...said unto Him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee and the paps which thou hast sucked." But, He (Jesus) said, Yea, rather, blessed are they that hear the Word of God, and keep it." Lu 11:27,28.

We are to tremble at His Word: "...but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My Word." Isa 66:2.

Jesus quoted Scripture in spiritual warfare with Satan: "It is written..." Mt 4:4,7,10.

"And take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God." Eph 6:17.

"For the Word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Heb 4:12.

The Disciples spoke the Word of God: "...ye received the Word of God, which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God..." 1 Thess 2:13.

Men are Martyred for the Word of God: "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God..." Rev 6:9.

And most significant of all - JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD. John 1:1; 1 John 1:1;1 John 5:7.

"And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD." Rev 19:13.

The Scripture says, Jesus is the "I AM."

My grandparents went to China with the Dutch Reformed Church, as missionaries. The Communists went to every house in the village, and murdered foreigners - every house, but my grandparents. My grandfather was arrested by Mao Tse Tung and put on trial, with a gun held to his head. He was ordered to renounce his faith. Instead, he preached the gospel to thousands of Chinese. They threw him into a dungeon.

Meanwhile, my grandmother, and children fled into the wilderness. My father, a very cerebral pathologist, said, bandits would ride up, slit your clothes, looking for jewels and kill you. Out of nowhere, there came a sound of a bugle and scared them off.

After sometime, my grandfather prayed, "Lord take me home, or, set me free." That day, "someone" came, opened the door. He thought he was going to be executed. Instead, he led him to the Hong Kong Harbour, he found his family and went to Singapore.

My grandfather was ready to be executed for the Word of God, and so am I, by God's grace.

"But be ye DOERS of the Word and not hearers, only, DECEIVING your selves." Ja 1:22.

You keep pushing the name Jehovah, which was coined by a 12th century Roman Catholicism.

Jehovah means I AM....That I AM.

In the Greek, it is eimi, which means, "I AM, have been,it is I, was." If you do not believe the Scripture, you do not belong to Him.

We were born into sin, in Adam's loins.

"A NEW HEART also will I give you, and A NEW SPIRIT will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

And I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments and do them." Ezekiel 36:26,27.

Jesus said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3.

Jesus said, "Not every one that SAITH, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that DOETH the will of My Father, which is in heaven.

MANY will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?

Jesus is the I AM, as is the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Why? I don't think anyone on this forum would question the fact that Jesus is the Messiah. That is a completely different question from that of whether or not Jesus is the Everlasting Father.

Everlasting Father is not speaking of THE Father. It speaks of Jesus being the "father" of eternal life.
Satan is also a "father", but he is the father of lies. Abraham is also a "father" , he is the father of all who walk in faith. Jesus is also a "father" of all who will inherit eternal life.

We are all the "children" of those who we follow. Unto perdition or unto eternal life.
