So Windows 10 isn't that great, I gather? You might as well stay there.
Cool. I look forward to hearing more! It's okay but they are still working on it so I am just checking out the latest tech preview build, I have not finished exploring it all.
Yup, give linux a go. Try Ubuntu, but also try Mint.I haven't tried Windows 10, and probably won't. I'm using Windows 8.1 right now, and it's OK. But, I'm really looking forward to migrating to an open source operating system in the future. I'm retired now and have the time to deal with it. Plus, I now longer need some of the Windows features for software that I didn't want to chance losing while I was still using some software designed for Windows.
My first thought is Ubuntu on a dual boot system.
so is army chow, but well if I have the chance to eat for free, I wouldn't choose that. It's going to be free. I don't need to know anything else about it.![]()
