Crochet is my greatest love. I enjoy embroidery and have a small craft business. Will post a few pictures. My avatar shows another one of my pieces.

I made this for one of the young married ladies who will soon be having a baby girl.

Understandable!

Really, once you make a few of the items, it will become almost second nature.

I don't know if you have patterns - some are downloadable from the internet - but if you don't, I could scan some of mine to send you. I started with muslin fabric to come up with the basics, then printed them on my printer. I printed two copies: 1 to use, and 1 to make further copies of as needed.

I use velcro on most of the items. The coats & jackets, I use snaps, with buttons merely for decoration. I've found small hands can handle velcro & snaps better than buttons.

I make those....dresses, coats, jackets, pantsuits, tops, slacks, shorts.............
My mother in law makes those.jaci has a cherokee princess with tribal colors.

First of all Sister abide, why haven't I got the talent to do that? Oh wait, now I remember, it isn't manly. My claim to life was basketball, boxing, and football. My efforts gave me my comeuppance of bad knees, and no one even offering me money, or thanks for it. There is other reward though. My granddaughter made all state girls basketball team in high school, came to visit and challenge me to a one on one game at our church gym around ten years or so ago, and I beat her. That felt better than championships won over the years. Would you believe she didn't like the way I near knocked her off her feet every time she challenged the path I was blocking? If instead she had came up and presented me with a beautiful crochet work like you do I may have gave her opportunity to approach the basket instead. :shrug NAH!!!
Take that grand-daughter; HA HA HA HA HA !!!! :lol

That is what I am doing. I purchased some velcro last week from the craft shop. It looks much easier to use than buttons, plus putting in the button holes would be a problem. Thanks
