That takes care of those of us who are under the impression "I have saved so many souls the congregation is helpless without ME " or " Im okay I go to church every Sunday and enjoy every sermon and the music really rocks .The rest of the week is business as usual , in this dog eat dog "too busy for God World" Matthew 4:4 " live by bread alone" along with Deuteronomy 8:3 "...He did this to teach you that human beings must not depend on bread alone to sustain them , but on everything that the Lord says.".Also time for our children Deut. 6. 7 "Teach them to your children .Repeat them when you are at home and when you are away, when you are resting and when you are working 8. Tie them on your arms and wear them as a reminder."Good News Bible.
I believe responsibility is just as binding on Christian Parents under the New Covenant as far not merely being a passive listener ; but an active walk the talk "Believer" inspired by the Holy Spirit as Paul shows above.
