I may have Chiari Malformation (spelling) which will require surgery to fix

I am to have an MRI soon which will confirm it , but the doctors are pretty sure I have it after reading my cat scan

I'm scared

My prayers are with you. You are in Gods hands.

Surgery can be a scary thing. I hope you have lots of support there. Can you explain the condition?

From my understanding of it, part of my brain is slipping down and putting pressure on my neck...you'd have to look it up to get a full understanding , im trying to do as much research as I can

Hey Bunny, I will be praying too. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Love Kelli

Sure

Well. I'm 17 years old..I model..I love to read and write, the book I'm currently reading is called The Serial Killer Files

I've been dizzy on and off since January, went to the hospital for it the night it started happening..the hospital found out that I was bipolar and anxiety and quickly assumed it was anxiety without doing any tests

The other day my dizzyness and vision and other symptoms got really bad , so I walked to the ER with my boyfriend..They gave me a cat scan where they found nothing

Then another doctor looked at it and found that I may have Chairi Malformation

So this has been going on for a couple months

right now as I type I am lightheaded and dizzy and my neck hurts like there's no tomorrow

Its okay.. I'm a fairly new Christian ( accepting Christ sometime around August 08 I believe)

sometimes I have doubts..but I always pray

It's ok to have doubts, but stay in the word of God and pray. The word reveals God!

I had doubts when I found out I had testicular cancer, my wife was cheating on me, I lost my job, and was medically discharged from the Army and left with no wife, no job, no income, and two small children to care for by myself, all in late 2005. At my most desperate hours he always came to my rescue and answered my prayers. Not always in the way I wanted, but he is always there.

Jesus is real and he loves and cares for you!! Your doubts make no difference in that.

Praise God, Bunny... you are saved! That is good news. I know it seems when we are going through a trial that our lives are out of control. But I promise God is working this out for your good. You are so young... in years and in Christ. Do you have support from a parent or trusted adult? How did you get saved?

You may have heard the expression that nothing happens to you that isn't filtered through the hands of God, but the cool thing is.. He does not allow anything through His hands that isn’t good for us.

Sometimes we need to stretch and grow. It hurts while we are going through it, but it always helps us.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

It may be hard to believe now, but ask anyone who has been a Christian for a length of time, they will tell you, that the hard things they have been through have been gifts in the end.

I will be praying for you! You are our family...

Love Kelli

I just decided to go to church one day, I hadn't gone since I was like 4

Thanks..

My favorite verse is Proverbs 13:9

Which one do you have 1,2 or 3 ? I know it is hard when you are scared, been there done that, But you must believe that God will be with you. And am Bipolar 1, and I am doing great. They are good with the type of operation that you are getting, because it is so common, so you could have type 1, 2 or 3, which do you have. We love you, if you need me just PM me.

they think i have type 1

I also have Bipolar and have mad crazy panic attacks

Ok type 1 is the easiest to operate on. God will take care of you Bunny. Now a Bipolar disorder comes as a 1or 2, with one being the worst, Lithium Carbonate is very good for this disorder.

I will never again take Lithium. It almost killed me..My blood turned toxic and my kidneys started shutting down

Well it is not for everybody, they have many medications to treat it with now. They have to find what works for you.

Right now I'm on Abilify , Lamictal , xanax , cymbalta .......i think thats it...
