Okay so we’re just now starting to learn about gut microbiomes right
And a gut biome shares 40% of the bacteria with the mouth according to Google.
What if by means of the Eucharist we are sharing the gut biome of Jesuses through means of apostolic succession (because he shared his cup with the apostles) and kinda grossly through backwash.
Not only do the Catholics share the same cup during which transfers the microbiome but they also consume bread which serves to feed the bacteria that they receive.
And Jesus says in John 14:17 “the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.”
I understand that this is a reference to the Holy Spirit but at the same time I think it’s cool to think about there being a physical reflection to what is happening on Spiritual plane through receiving the blood of Christ.
