As beleivers, If we can accept who we are but not want be who we are can we move forward with God.

If so how so, if not why not why not?
If so how do we pass over the impasse as such of I am what I am, to move forward and realise that God understand that I am what I am with a purpose of him saying I am be more like me.

In our flesh we will always have those thoughts as if we are not good enough. The Spirit is willing, but the Flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41. For a long time I had battled with accepting myself and not as God sees me. We make mistakes, God doesn't. Sometimes we get in our own way and block our own blessings. The Lord has taught me to rest in Him. It is so refreshing to know that God is always with us in the good times and bad. There are no plan a,b,c,d etc...... Once I gave everything over to God, those shackles and chains came off and I was able to experience true freedom. To God be the Glory.

I ran from God for 23 years and two, almost three months, solely because I realized who and what I was/am. It is oft said that God cannot use you until He breaks you and I am a good example of that very thing.

Before I could move forward God sent a number of witness' to testify to me, each one imparting some small portion of the truth I had so corkscrewed. The last witness convinced me to surrender all the silliness and to let God. Until a man or woman reaches that point, they cannot serve God because they are holding one or some of the strings and God will not have it in a servant child. (Psa. 46:10)
