Please critique this for me. Many thanks in advance.

What the Bible says about who is called to eternal salvation

The number of verses that I have found where the point is taught is indicated by (nn).

God is everywhere (that He desires to be), and He knows and sees everything (10)

God knows peoples’ hearts (7)

God knows the type of people He wants to have with Him in Heaven (25+)

God chooses and calls His “elect” (16)

God made much of the the Old Testament quite unbelievable,
and He made the gospel of Jesus Christ foolishness to most people (50+)

God says all men are sinners, are separated from Him, and are spiritually blind (10+)

God the Father gives His “elect” to Jesus, which enables them to believe in Him (10)

God makes sure that those who believe in Jesus gain eternal life (10+)

The above is what the Bible clearly teaches.

Notes:

1) Almighty God orchestrated 1500 years of man’s history in order to have
His precious Scriptures written, and to have His precious Messiah come forth.
Warning: Don’t think that God failed to preserve what He wanted to preserve.

2) After God gave the Ten Commandments and the Law to the Israelites,
they were given every opportunity and advantage to know Him, be obedient, etc.,
but they stirred up God’s wrath by continually rebelling, sinning, being disobedient,
and so He scattered them to the four corners of the earth.
All other nations were heathens who worshipped idols, other gods, etc.
So it is unknown who will make it to Heaven from the Old Testament time period.

True but incomplete, Paul wrote of being dead in trespass and sin.

Same as above, true but incomplete, God orchestrated all of history [/quote]

So I think it looks really good, what are you up to?

Paul wrote of being dead in trespass and sin.
So I think it looks really good, what are you up to?
Gracias.

Maybe I'll say "spiritually blind and dead".
I was thinking of using it in my work with Muslims.

How do you perceive the Armenian verses fitting into all of this?

Not a problem for me, they work fine given proper weight. Of course that the rub. You seem Reformed/Calvinist in outlook, is that correct?

I agree with all of this except the last line, romans 2-4, Eph 2,3 Gal 2-4 indicate that the promise was always by faith, not to bio Jews at all. So Nat isreal at large, would have little bearing on OT saints. Be very careful in dealing with muslims, there definition of Jesus and there Eschatlogical beliefs Place them biblicly as anti-christ and may well be the AC of the End Times themselves.

I see verses on both sides ...
but there are several powerful ones that indicate one cannot lose salvation.
A guy who God uses in prophecy told me that some verses are there to WARN only.
And to me, they don't seem nearly as strong and definitive as the Calvinist verses.

Addition made after Hitch's post #7:

I believe that the "overcomer", the one who makes it to Heaven,
also needs to be successful in fulfilling the obligations within:
1) the "Armenian (free will)" verses, and
2) the "knowing God" verses

So, how about a trinity of necessary verses to conform to:
elect verses, Armenian verses, knowing God verses?
