I'm Going To Miss Michael

Lewis

Member
I miss him already, as a matter of fact. He was a gifted person, and very sweet. In the 70's my grand father was their limo driver, when ever they would come to Philly, I am talking about the Jackson 5. They would ask for him. One time my grand pop took them to the movies, and the limo driver is supposed to wait outside, but Michael came out and took him by the hand and took him in the movies too. Because he did not want him to be alone, that is what kind of person he was, all his life. I love and I will miss him, I don't care what anybody thinks.

aaaaawwww :crying

That's so COOL. A personal account of Michael. Very lovely.

And Mike would always question my grand pop about us, because my grand pop told him that he had 5 grand kids. They sent each of us 5 grand kids the Maybe Tomorrow, albums, and in my drug and alcohol years, I lost track of that album. I am busting my brains, trying to remember what I did with that album, and my brothers is missing also, don't know if my 3 cousins have theirs. 1 is deceased anyway. On another note, I think that he was treated real cruel by the media, and the tabloids, it use to hurt me the way they did him. Mike died without ever having peace in his life, but he was a loving father, he was a great dad.

The physical album may not be in your hands. But the gift is still in your heart. Michael had alot of "disagreements" with very powerful people in hollywood. I believe that those people paid the media to dirty his name. Yes, he did a good job on his own, But the way they attacked and came after him for EVERY little thing was incredible. Michael upset the Beatles because he outbid them for their own royalty rights (which I believe he still owned). There was a contract with Steven Speilberg for a movie (or something to that effect) that fell through, causing alot of animosity between the two. Sony head Tommy Mattola butt heads with him in a major way as well. So, he did have enemies. After all of these events, he moved to Dubai to get away from the USA and all the drama. It's funny that he returned to this result. He will always be in my heart as I saw him as a child: World's greatest entertainer.

You are right, and thank you for those statements. Yes the press will kill you, they chased princess Dianah to her death, they caused Spears to have mental problems. And they picked on Paris too, And boy do they love it when a famous Christian falls, they can't get enough of that. It is hard to live like that.

Lewis! What an awesome story. And where have you been lately? I haven't seen you post recently. I've missed you!

You couldn't pay me enough money in the world to be famous!

Hey Jo Jo, I miss you too. I should have new internet sevice, this week coming, right now I am using my Blackberry. Yes Jo Jo my grand pop said Mike would always ask about us, he said Mike wanted to meet us, and he wanted to know what we were like, this was in the early 70's That shows me that all he wanted to be was a kid at that time, Sometimes they would be here for days, so my grand pop would be in the hotel rooms with them a lot, and he said Mike stuck up under him a lot, because my grand pop loved kids..

I was a fan of MJs, too. He wasn't the moster they made him out to be. He was a gentle soul, and that soul was tormented unnecessarily. I will miss him, too but I believe he's better where he is.
