Jesus,
In all this forgiveness, I’m learning You. I am speechless when You reveal Yourself to me. Speechless of Your wonderments. For You alone are Lord.
Yet, I also weep. For when You are revealed, so am I.
First I begin weeping with joy as I glimpse the beauty of Your splendor. You are awesome all by Yourself.
It is then my weeping turns to shame; seeing my sinful ways. How different I am in and of myself. It’s as if, the more I know of You, the greater my need for You cannot be denied. I can’t do any of it on my own. I’ve tried and I’ve failed. I weep with shame.
I weep once more. Your mercy and Your grace. Yes I weep. In all this forgiveness, I’m learning You!
