Is it OK to pray for Jesus to return sooner?

Is it OK to pray that Jesus comes quicker? Would that be similar to praying for the peace of Israel?

Yes, but you know we are commanded pray for peace in Jerusalsm, and remember, the very last prayer in the Bible is a prayer for Jesus' return: "Amen. Come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22:20).

I pray for the return of Jesus Christ all the time. Not that I hate this world or my life but like Paul said to be with the Lord is so much greater. Rapture me away!

Do I suspect a study on "Hasten the Day" coming? Hope so! I've learned that there are specific things that we can do. It stirs the romantic in me but part of that includes "turning our eyes upon him".
