I was struck this morning while reading in Amos 4.
5 times God says..
"Yet have you not returned unto Me, saith the Lord"
In Hebrew it is "Velo-shavtem adai, ne-oum adonai." Now the "adai" comes from "ad" which means "until" so "adai" means "until Me" or "as far as Me"
"Yet you have not returned as far as Me" Basically, we are not seeking hard enough or far enough.
Seek the Lord and you shall live! The time is short.
Maran atha!
