Okay I have the day off and I flipping over the tv channels and just enjoying my day off. When I ran across Jerry Springer. I don't understand how people can still continue to have this man on the air. He is garbage, and he knows it!!! At least I give him that much, he does not deny his trash show. What do you people think of his show?

These shows tells me that we have some real trash out here in the states. People that cheat, lie, fornicate, commit adultery and people support this junk, or we would not have them on the air for all these years. It's horrible..

I think people feel better about their own sin when they see how much worse others can be. I just think it's a sign that the end is getting nearer. When that kind of lifestyle is held high and applauded then everyone thinks it's o.k..
Maury has gotten on my nerves very much. Not just that every other show is a paternity show but what's behind it. It's the lifestyle and casual sex. It's not caring that they are creating little humans that will not have an easy chance to have a decent life.

It is very sick what kind of trash entertains many Americans. I am disgusted by Jerry Springer as well. I've never watched it, but I've caught enough glimpses of it to know how bad it is. There is so much more out there that disgusts me. Pornography is everywhere. I try to shield my daughter from seeing magazines in the bookstore or grocery (they are right at a child's eye level!), but what can I do about billboards and the like? It is a shallow and sinful society we live in. :

What also gets me is that these little innocent babies will grow up and see that their mother has slept with 5+ people and she does not know the father is. What is that going to tell that child? That their mother slept around? I think you are right, people like to view this junk and say to themselves "see my life isn't that horrible, at least I haven't been on Springer yet." LOL

Porno is everywhere and it's sad. As a man we have enough inner lust already (sad but true), and all this porno makes it hard for the average man out there now days. And the girls these day's on my word. Wearing clothes so skimpy you can see their butts and see their areola of their breast. As you said, it's on the television, in magazines, on the Internet, in music etc etc. I do see that it's a sign of the end times. As Jesus said it's as the day's of Noah, it shall be asign of the end of times.

As you strive to be an obedient, single, Christian man, I can feel for you. Society constatly says for the young woman to dress less & less. Leave less to the imagination. I can imagine the thoughts that roam yor head. They just don't have to take up residence!
It is not much easier for me - a married woman. Television says go shopping for "supplemental" company when your husband is not doing what you want. Have a problem? Don't sit down & pray through or talk it out. Just go sleep with someone who can give you the TEMPORARY fix to your problems.
I fully believe it will be Godly relationships that the Devil will infiltrate to try to break the army of God. I ain't playing. I ain't falling for that trap.

Regardless if they are actors or not, people promote this stuff and want this to be continued on the air, thus it has been since the early 90's. Also it was about a week ago on Dateline where one of the people appearing on the show was getting death mail because of whatever that show was about. I don't think it's all actors, not at all.. But if I'm wrong it still does not make it any better, the youth watching this stuff does not know that.

Frankly Keith, I would expect nothing less from those of the world....They are only doing what comes natural to them...

The TV personalties that get under my skin are the preachers who are fleecing the sheep in Jesus name....That to me is sickening...Peter popoff and his miracle water, or benny hinn charging for fake healing, or TD Jakes Using John 3:16 as a way to extort money from poor folk who can bearly keep their head above water....Those TV personalities are an abomination to the Lord...
