I do not think i can show him anything. I cannot show him a kilogram of love.
He reads hearts.
He knows our hearts and doesn't need us to show Him to know whether we love Him or not. However, if we DO love Him, we will do the things He's asked of us, and that will show others our testimony that we love Him.
Compassion maybe, but respect needs to be earned.
If someone asks for forgiveness i will forgive, and if i have done wrong i will apologise.
I dont have much emotion in between.
What are some ways that we can show Jesus that we Love Him? And are we really willing to commit to doing these?
Yes, I didn't have that particular verse on my mind when I posted that, but yes, this is it.And that is essentially John 14:21. Awesome!
Would you like to give me my bronze award now.
This is not like the beep test right?. I really dont want the trials to increase. Life is a struggle as it is.
Love your neighbour maybe? What are some ways that we can show Jesus that we Love Him? And are we really willing to commit to doing these?
Having a willing mind, all the days of our life, but to keep his/Jesus commandments:What are some ways that we can show Jesus that we Love Him? And are we really willing to commit to doing these?

This might sound weird to others, but it speaks to me
Song of Songs 2:15
Love your neighbour maybe?
And may I ask, if God is doing all the loving what part of me is left to choose to love others for myself. One of the greatist gifts that you can give God is to allow Him to love others through you. For when you were born again, He poured His love into your heart (Romans 5:5)
And may I ask, if God is doing all the loving what part of me is left to choose to love others for myself.
Cturtle, are you saying that by yourself you would only be selfish?A big part. Because even though God poured His love into your heart, you have to make the choice to follow that loving way. Our natural desire is to be selfish or only love those who love us first, and are kind to us. Taking the Love walk to the level of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 is where we need to rely on the Father's help.
