The star of Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ told Raymond Arroyo that he heard Jesus Christ speaking to him during the filming of the crucifixion scene.

In an interview posted to social media on Wednesday, Jim Caviezel tells the popular ETWN host that he experienced an interior locution as he underwent the grueling experience. As he acted the last hours of Christ’s Passion, Jesus spoke to him, he says.

I always thought that Mr. Gibson's Passion movie was likely very true to the actual events. And I would certainly think that Jesus would want his death portrayed to us as real as it was that we might truly understand how much he suffered at the hands of men that we might have life.

I've always felt that some kind of experience helps in turning to God and obeying Him.
There are different ways of becoming a disciple of Jesus...but some type of "experience" --- nothing weird --- sure helps.
