And I understand what you are saying too carey, I too, believe that Muslims are mistaken about Jesus and God just like the rest of the world. But that's just it, in that way they are just like the rest of the world. And how do we, as Christians, deal with that? Primarily with love I would hope. (tough love sometimes)
I just don't like solving the problem by killing people.
But, and this is why I'm torn, I understand why...
What can you do if someone is already hellbent on killing themselves and their children to kill others?
How in the world can you even protect them from themselves when they already practically consider themselves dead?
So, in that way, I think we've been pressed up against a wall as to what our actions are.
And I don't want to belittle what our men and women are doing to protect us (and not only us but also protecting Iraqis and Afghanis from themselves). I think many (including myself) are indebted to them. But I would still much rather pray for and talk with Muslims than any other action. I guess I want them to know the saving grace of Jesus
