The gospel teaches people to believe, which is to fully entrust their lives to Jesus
and to repent, which in context is to turn to Jesus for all needs and knowledge.
Prov 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
7 He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
10 When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
11 Discretion will preserve you;
Understanding will keep you,
12 To deliver you from the way of evil
Discretion, a result of wisdom, will keep people,
from listening to the serpent, who tempts believers
with a source of knowledge of good and evil.
There are plenty of data-bases, be it popery, Christian denominations, bible colleges,
private sources like CARM and those who produce systematic theology.
All these sources have different interpretations.
God isn’t one of confusion, therefore there can only one meaning to what has been revealed.
There is no easy way out by seeking the opinions of MAN,
as it leaves you spiritually blind like Adam was,
who sought knowledge of good and evil elsewhere.
From God’s mouth comes knowledge and understanding,
which requires diligent seeking, as God reveals precept upon precept.
Are the purveyors of knowledge of good and evil responsible
for deception and the multitude of opinions in Christianity
or are those, who preach a gospel, which tells people not to totally rely on God?
and to repent, which in context is to turn to Jesus for all needs and knowledge.
