This baby cardinal was reclining in one of my bird feeder dishes yesterday, just having a good old time. I thought at first, he was stunned, or worse, dead!
But no, he was simply laying back, and sunning his feathers. Eventually he flew off.
Thought I'd share this unusual birdy behavior with ya'll.
