I love this heater.I bought it a couple of weeks ago at Home Depot.I think it is going to be a challenge and expensive to heat this older bigger home.It was about $90.00 but I am thinking it will save me some money on my electric bill. When I woke up this morning my house was 63 degrees.I thought it was cold.I turned the heater on upstairs for about 11/2 hours and it was comfortable.I like it so much that I am going to buy one for downstairs and it really get cold down there.

That's interesting. I wonder how much it will add to your energy bill?

I went to Home Depot today to get another one for the downstairs and they were already out.I then went to Lowe's and they still had a couple. What is neat about them is that they have a energy saver function. You can set your thermostat for like 65 and then set your Lasko for 68 or 69 and it will maintain your home temp at that.So you are setting your thermostat at a lower setting and the Lasko is not near as expensive to run as electricity. So you do save.I love mine that I have been using upstair for a couple of days.I am thinking this big old house is going to stay cold and expensive to heat.I wanted a nice backup heater to conserve on heat and money.I did my research on-line and the one I got the highest ratings and reviews. The one I got at Lowes today was $79.99.A little cheaper than Home Depot.Let me know if you are interested and I will give you the model number and the details.

I see what you mean by saving now. That seems like a good idea.
