Do you believe that a lay person can baptize someone? Or do you think that should only be performed by clergy/pastoral figures? Why, why not?

Any spiritually mature person can baptize. Why? Because it's all about the heart condition of the one getting baptized and the one who is doing it. It doesn't take a title to baptize, it takes the right Spirit.

I believe if a person is born again and spirit filled and washed in the blood and thier heart is towards God then of course they can. The diciples did and so can a believer who's heart is right and fixed on God.

Funny little story,
I got baptised in a fellow church members pool during a love feast if you will. Several of us did. Now several brothers there knew my story and back ground and the places I was delivered from. Well I came out speaking in Tongues and the light of God was on me and several brothers refused to swim in the pool until it was drained and refilled and hands laid on. LOL....It was a joking manner but truth be told....they never went in. lol
